Betty Cortez is receptionist/legal assistant for the firm and is part of our pre-litigation department. Betty was formerly in charge of ordering medical records for the pre-litigation department, and ordering medical and billing affidavits for the our litigation department before being promoted. Prior to working for our firm, Betty worked as a file clerk at Family Medicine Clinic for four years. Betty is fluent in Spanish and translates for our Spanish speaking clients. She also translates English documents into Spanish. Betty has three children, Jacob, Elysia, Xavier, and a dog named Belle. Betty enjoys spending time with her children doing outdoor activities such as camping, swimming, and going to the park. They also like going to the movies and Jacob’s football games. In her free time, Betty likes to listen to music, go out dancing, and go to music concerts. She also loves to cook! She likes to invite all her family over and cook a big meal, so her family can visit and have fun.
