Tim Brandenburg is the Senior Law Clerk with the firm, working full-time during the day and attending evening classes at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth. He anticipates graduation in May 2006, and plans to take the July 2006 State of Texas Bar Exam. Tim is in the top 4% of his law school class.

After completing his first year of law school studies, Tim recognized a need to learn the real business of lawyering in addition to the theories that he was being taught in law school. After a careful search, Tim made application to join the Law Firm of Roger ‘Rocky’ Walton, P.C., primarily because the attorneys with that firm were Board Certified in Personal Injury Law (among the top 3% of all Texas attorneys) and because the firm only took legitimate personal injury cases involving death or serious injury. Since joining the firm, Tim has performed extensive legal research, and has drafted pleadings, motions, memoranda of law, trial briefs, and even an appellate petition.

Prior to entering the legal field, Tim graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems (computer software design and programming with a business emphasis). Following graduation, he worked as a mainframe computer programmer, and transitioned into the development of desktop computer software systems. Tim started his own company in 1993, and worked as a freelance computer consultant until he came to work for Rocky Walton in 2003. During his computer career, Tim developed computer software for such diverse industries as Medicaid, Oil & Gas, Banking, and Customer Loyalty.

Tim’s schedule is understandably busy with work and school, but he still finds the time to spend with his wonderful wife and their twelve year-old daughter. It is his family that provides the encouragement and support necessary to help him through the long evening and week-end hours.

Upon graduation and licensing, Tim plans to accept a position as associate attorney with the firm. He is looking forward to taking his own cases all the way through trial and appeal.
