Free Office or Telephone Consultation
Whether you prefer to meet in person or by phone, we will be happy to answer all your questions and get enough information from you to determine whether your case is the type we handle. If it is, we will have you meet with individuals in our office, such as a Board Certified Personal Injury Trial Lawyer, a licensed insurance adjuster, a licensed nurse, and a licensed investigator. You can then decide whether you would like to employ us. If your case is not the kind of case we handle, we will still answer all your questions that we can and we will try to recommend an attorney to you that is specialized in that area of law.
Rent Car-Same Day Arrangements
On the day we accept your car crash case, we will be happy to arrange a rental car for you in our name. This will enable you to have a rent car while your claim is being established, at which time the rent car obligation will be assumed by the insurance company.
Aggressive Team Concept
You will not have one person working on your case, you will have an entire team working on your claim at any time. We are divided into three teams: Pre-Litigation, Litigation, and Administrative. Each team has a team leader and does its part to insure that your case is handled with the goal of achieving maximum recovery as soon as reasonably possible. Unless your case is already in litigation when we begin, your case will begin with The Pre-Litigation Team. This team has a licensed insurance adjuster as the team leader. This team also has a nurse and legal assistant. This team coordinates with licensed investigators, medical doctors, and sometimes other professionals to do a thorough job of investigation to prove liability and to document damages for future recovery. About 75%, or more, of our cases settle in pre-litigation. If your case cannot be settled without filing suit, your case then goes to the Litigation Team. This team consists of two Board Certified Personal Injury Trial Lawyers, a qualified legal assistant, a law clerk, and several office clerks. This team prepares your case for mediation and will try to settle the case at that level. If your case does not settle at mediation, your case is prepared for trial. About 95% of personal injury cases settle before trial. However, if there is no settlement this team takes the case through trial and through appeal, if necessary. When your case is resolved through verdict or settlement, it then goes to the Administrative Team. This team is made up of a bookkeeper and a licensed insurance adjuster who make sure that all the accounting for court costs and other expenses is correct and that all liens are properly dealt with according to our client’s best interest.
Convenient Appointments Available
We will meet with you at your convenience. We will be happy to meet before hours, after hours, on the weekend, or just about anytime that is convenient for you. If you are still hospitalized or confined to a bed, we can meet with you wherever you are.
Considerate To Our Clients
Our clients come first and we work hard for our clients. We treat our clients the way we would want to be treated and the same way we would treat our loved ones and close personal friends.
Constant Client Updates
We will constantly keep you informed as to the status of the case. We do this by phone calls, personal meetings, emails, copies of documents sent and received, and any other possible way. We know you will be happier when you know what is going on with the case.
Medical Care Arrangements
If you have insurance for medical expenses, we will help if there is any trouble making the insurance company pay benefits to which you are entitled. If there are no insurance benefits available, we will help our clients find qualified medical professionals for testing and treatment that will allow their charges to be paid when the claim is concluded.
Nurse On Staff
Since 1988, this firm has had at least one Nurse on staff. We think it is important and worth the expense to have qualified medical personnel to monitor and understand the medical progress of a case. If the case is a Medical Malpractice case, the responsibilities of the Nurse also include finding the best medical experts for the case. When any case of ours goes to litigation, the nurse becomes a medical consultant to the Litigation Team for the numerous medical issues that arise.
Se Habla Español
We always have one or more legal assistants that are fluent in Spanish and English. We want you to feel comfortable talking in your primary language.
We Fight For Victims
Our clients are innocent injury victims. They do not ask to be hurt and do not want to be hurt. Even though our clients may receive fair compensation for their injuries, they would prefer to turn back the clock and not be injured at all and receive no compensation. Sometimes our injury victim clients are also crime victims. If the person responsible for the injuries was intoxicated on alcohol or drugs, or was in the process of committing some other crime, our clients are also crime victims. In that case, we assist our clients in receiving financial assistance from the Texas Crime Victims Compensation Fund, and try to get restitution for damages in the criminal case, as well. In addition, we try to collect actual and punitive damages for our clients from the insurance money that is available.
